Temasek is 100% government owned.

So when you have disagreement over something, it's explicit that the government or Singapore is in disagreement.

If it's a wholly public listed company, the issue might have been dissimilar.

Which goes to show, whichever party you vote in to government will have widespread sociological implications.

In my opinion, I think the current Singapore regime has alot to learn about diplomacy.

Aiyoh, so its singapore govt and thai buay gam lah.

So, if temasek earn money, its their money, the rich get richer, if lose money, .....Oops its our cpf money, or do we get bread crumbs e.g. Singapore shares.....then again thats sweetener for election.

Depends on how much they think they will lose the election, the more likely they think they going to lose, the more progress package they pay out. Then after election, they increase taxes (GST) and the price of other services like transport and electricity to recover the cost of the progress package plus a hefty profit.

I hear rumors that in the GLCs if you come across "relatives' in any position, big or small... you must not touch them or you will suffer the consequences.
